Hello there! I'm Aarav — thanks for stopping by. I got into math because it gives structure to things that otherwise feel disconnected: piano scales, competition problems, galaxy distances in a photometric dataset. I started college thinking engineering would keep things tangible, but the math never let go — tutoring sessions where I got to talk about proofs were the ones that left me energized. Before research labs, I learned market making the hard way: top ~100 networth on Hypixel SkyBlock, flipping thousands of auctions by spotting mispricings faster than the next bidder. These days I'm most proud of my combinatorial topology research at SCRUGS Lab; generalizing a surface theorem into higher dimensions is the kind of puzzle I feel built for. When I'm not in a lab or at a whiteboard, you'll find me leading Math and Physics Club, mentoring the SciRavens FTC team, or at the piano working through Chopin's Ballade No. 1.
